Each day, students complete a warm up to review hot topics or newly learned material. We discuss homework, and often target the specific areas that are difficult for most students. We use data analysis from tests and quizzes to determine the topics that students need some additional support with, and spiral those topics throughout the semester. These "throw backs" or review questions are seen in warm ups, exit tickets or quick activities to break up a lesson. Students keep a binder, in which they write notes, include work samples and examples for each topic of study. Homework is assigned everyday, except for Fridays. Each Friday there is also a quiz, and there are unit assessments at the end of each unit of study.
Tutoring is available and encouraged for all students. Please speak to me in person to make arrangements.
